St Lucia Citizenship by Investment

St Lucia's citizenship by investment program was established in 2015 and offers four qualifying investment routes. A single applicant may make a non-refundable contribution of USD 100,000 to the National Economic Fund (NEF), representing one of the lowest entry points of any Caribbean citizenship by investment program. Alternative routes include a USD 300,000 investment in approved real estate held for 5 years, a USD 300,000 purchase of government bonds held for 5 years at zero interest, or an enterprise investment of USD 3.5 million. A family of four qualifies through a USD 165,000 NEF contribution, making St Lucia highly competitive at the family level as well.

A St Lucia passport provides access to approximately 147 countries and territories without prior visa or on arrival, including the United Kingdom and all Schengen Area states. St Lucia imposes no physical presence requirement, no interview, and no language testing on citizenship applicants. The program has undergone recent reforms to improve processing efficiency, and standard processing currently takes approximately 3 to 4 months from submission of a complete application. St Lucia levies no estate tax, no inheritance tax, and does not tax foreign source income of residents.

Standard processing takes approximately 3 to 4 months with recent program reforms improving administrative efficiency and reducing review timelines compared to the earlier years of the program, making St Lucia one of the faster processing Caribbean programs.

Global Mobility

A St Lucia passport provides access to approximately 147 countries and territories without a prior visa or on arrival, including all Schengen states, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Singapore, providing strong global mobility for business and personal travel.
